First time mama I brought this phone for my 6 month old son. He would always reach out and cry for my cell phone so I figured I needed to do something. He loves his new baby phone! I love the fact that it teaches him numbers, songs and first words.

AddieRoseysMuM When I showed my 9 month old this toy in the store she immediately wanted to play with it! She loved it so much I decided to buy it right then and there instead of waiting to buy it for her as a Christmas gift. As soon as we got home and took it out of the box she was all over the phone. We've had it a little over two weeks and she still gets super excited when I turn it on and give it to her to play with; I can tell this is a toy she will enjoy for a long time. My favorite feature of the phone is the two different play modes and how easy it is to switch between them. One has a bunch of different "apps" and the other is like a music player. My daughter prefers the music mode so far; she loves to dance to the music. I also like similar to a "real" smartphone the toy is. My daughter was obsessed with my phone before I got her this toy, and now she is content playing with her phone while I play with mine!

TnT clan My son is now 1 and he loves cell phones. I never let him use mine because well hello he's 1 and shouldn't be using it, plus he has a temper and I don't feel like paying for a replacement. But whenever I visit family they like to give them theirs even when I say "no" so now he trys to demand mine. I saw this product and thought it would be a better cell phone than the other 5 he has because it looks like a smart phone and has a home button(his favorite). I was right. It has quickly become one of his favorite toys with the little apps that light up and sing different tones when he touches them and the thing he loves most because it's like a real smart phone is the home button. I didn't go wrong with this toy.

Mimi My 8 month old grandson loves this phone! It plays music, talks and lights up and is about the same size as a real cell phone.

I would love to give this 5 stars but less than 2 weeks after purchasing this toy the touch screen stopped working. He can still play with it and it plays music but it is not as interactive as before. There were multiple choices for a toy cell phone and I chose the VTech because I had always found their products to be of better quality and last longer. I hope this incident was just a "fluke" because I have been looking forward to all the VTech things that I want to purchase for my grandson as he grows.

babyMoustache My baby is almost exactly 1 year old. She likes dancing to the music but still has a hard time with figuring out which buttons will play the songs and gets frustrated with just sound effects buttons. This toy allows multiple tapping, unlike our smartphones and that lets me tap the correct button to play songs for her even though she already has a few little fingers on the screen. She is also in the "drop things over the side" phase and this has survived multiple MULTIPLE drops.

I think she may still be a bit young for this toy but she loves playing with it with us together.

3rdNDone My baby boy is in the teething stage. So by these second day the touch screen no longer worked but the buttons do. I didn't expect it to stand up to the drool but I was hoping that baby toy makers where aware of their target market and would build a more durable toy. I have and older vtech slide qwerty phone and it still works and it stood up to the drool and still works. I will not be replacing the phone due to water damage, just hope that the next model comes with a phone cover. This phone is also bulky, I picked this phone over the fisher-price phone because it had more to offer and I picked it over the leap frog phone because of the target age range.

WyldeCherry I bought this phone for my 7 month old son. I like the idea of duplicating the touch screen phone. I didn't care for the music side because there weren't enough options like the dial pad side of the phone. My son dropped it in the floor a few times and the slide screen dislocated. So I will be returning the phone. My older son had the older version with the dial buttons and he loved that phone. I even let my 7 month old play with it and he liked it too. I may just got back to the older version since it seemed to stimulate my baby more.

Michelle I purchased this product for my 16 month old daughter because she is always playing with my phone. She was immediately captivated when the phone turned on. She hums along with the music and actually holds it up to her ear as if she is talking. When I first saw an advertisement for the product, I thought the screen actually 'swiped' to another screen, which I think would really be ideal. But it captures my duaghter's attention every time she hears it, so that is a huge plus for me. I would recommend this product for anyone with little 'busy" hands at play.

Megan I absolutely love this toy! My son is obsessed with my phone and I did not want him to break it. I bought hi the Vtech Touch and Swipe Baby Phone to distract him from mine and he will play with it for hours on end. He has to bring it everywhere! The only problem that I've had is that some of the touch buttons do not work sometimes, but then again I never did replace the original batteries with new ones, so that is probably my fault.
